EASA Certified Programs
The EASA Professional Pilot Program takes you from your first hour of flight to first officer competence.
​SAA, in conjunction with our sister company in Sweden, is one of the largest Approved Training Organizations (ATO) in Europe. BFSAA Sweden has provided professional flight training for both airlines and individuals since 1963.

This is the perfect way to start your career as a commercial pilot. The course has a completion time of 18 months from start to finish, 12 of which are spent here in sunny San Diego. The program starts with 1 month of introduction theory via the Internet over our training portal called "Distance Learning System" (DLS). The following 12 months consist of flight and theory training here in San Diego, USA. The final 5 months consists of multi engine and instrument training in Sweden, as well as an MCC course in a Boeing 737NG simulator. Upon graduation, you will be the holder of an EASA frozen ATPL with an MCC endorsement.

EASA ATPL Theory
SAA offers the theory courses required to obtain an EASA Airline Transport Pilot License. It is planned as 9 months of study, but there is the possibility to extend the duration if needed.
Our ATPL theory course consists of a combination of instructor-led classroom teaching, computer based training, and home studies. You will be able to use our very own Distance Learning System (DLS), which we have created from the ground up so that you can get the most out of your training.
